Upon completion of our training program you will enjoy a hybrid work schedule with three days per week spent in our South Sioux City office.

Position Overview:

As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you'll embark on a career path designed to shape you into an exceptional claims professional. Our comprehensive six-month training program will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to handle the complexities of trucking insurance claims effectively. During this period, you'll learn the ins and outs of claims investigation, policy analysis, negotiation strategies, and settlement procedures under the guidance of seasoned professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Claims Investigation: Gain hands-on experience in determining liability, assessing damages, and gathering evidence for trucking-related incidents. At times, you will travel to investigate accident scenes.
Policy Analysis: Develop proficiency in analyzing insurance policies to determine coverage for claims filed by clients.
Communication: Learn to maintain regular and effective communication with insured parties, claimants, and stakeholders.
Negotiation: Acquire negotiation skills to facilitate fair and amicable settlements with claimants and other involved parties.
Documentation: Master the art of preparing accurate claim reports, documentation, and settlement agreements.
Customer Service: Understand the importance of providing exceptional service to clients throughout the claims process, ensuring their satisfaction and trust in our services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in related field preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
Adaptability and eagerness to learn new concepts and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
