Job Summary

As a Corporate Executive Chef, you’ll have access to the latest trends in culinary innovation and foodservice management. This role supports our Morrison Healthcare division while also providing dotted-line support to the world-renowned Mayo Clinic, ensuring excellence in patient and retail dining experiences.

With our cutting-edge technology and resources, combined with your culinary expertise, you’ll be instrumental in making a difference for patients, healthcare providers, and guests every day.

100 - 130K + 35% bonus potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational plans to meet contractual obligations
  • Assist in rolling out corporate and regional programs in line with company and regulatory standards
  • Drive strategies to enhance patient and retail customer satisfaction
  • Train teams to deliver consistent, high-quality food service
  • Build and develop a Culinary Support Team within the region
  • Provide ongoing training for Regional Directors of Operations on food quality, presentation, and purchasing compliance
  • Support new product and program launches
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing programs and initiatives
  • Complete and submit timely reports as required by corporate policies
  • Conduct site visits, provide feedback, and ensure accountability within 7 business days
  • Manage budgets in a fiscally responsible manner
  • Participate in patient visitation rounds alongside facility management
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts or an Associate’s Degree with 7+ years of progressive food service management experience (extensive experience may be considered in place of a degree)
  • 5+ years of progressive back-of-house (BOH) food service management experience
  • 2+ years of multi-unit BOH management experience
  • 3+ years of healthcare food service experience preferred
  • 3+ years of P&L management experience
  • Expertise in food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, proportions, and financial figures
  • Hands-on leadership approach
  • CEC (Certified Executive Chef) certification preferred
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Email, Internet)
  • Willingness to participate in patient/resident satisfaction initiatives
  • 85% travel required
