ABOUT THE POSITION

Work Schedule & Location: This full- or part-time role is based in Provo, UT, with the option to work in-office or in a hybrid setting. Therapists can create their own schedules, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.

We are looking for a full- or part-time Couples Therapist - Counselor who has experience working with Gottman, EFT, and IFS modalities. For couples, you'll have an opportunity to:

• Provide a safe and open environment for couples to express thoughts, feelings, and concerns without judgment.
• Provide an impartial perspective, ensuring that each partner's voice is heard and valued equally.
• Help the couple identify underlying issues and suggest strategies for resolving conflict in a healthy and constructive way.
• Encourage both partners to engage in self-reflection and support each other's growth, both individually and as a couple.
• Teach effective communication techniques, conflict resolution strategies, and emotional regulation to enhance the couple's overall relationship.

As a full or part-time Couples Therapist - Counselor for individuals, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Provide a safe, compassionate, confidential space by building strong therapeutic relationships with clients so that they feel cared for, listened to, and understood.
• Help clients explore and understand their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors.
• Offer empathy and validation to help clients process their emotions and experiences and serve as a consistent source of support during times of change or crisis.
• Help clients build resilience and skills to manage future challenges independently.
• Encourage clients to recognize their strengths and develop a sense of empowerment.
• Equip clients with practical tools and strategies to manage stress, anxiety, depression, or other challenges
• Incorporate a bottom-up approach with bodywork therapies such as EMDR or Brainspotting into your therapeutic style.
• Completing timely and accurate notes.

The Minimum Requirements to Be Considered:

• Master's degree in social work (MSW, CSW, LCSW), clinical mental health counseling (ACMHC, LCMHC), or marriage and family therapy (AMFT, MFT)
• Training in bodywork therapy like EMDR or Brainspotting ( or willingness to get trained)

Preferred:

• Experience working with couples using Gottman, EFT, and IFS modalities
