Job Description



The Senior Manager of Ecommerce will be responsible for managing and enhancing the performance and user experience of Truewerk’s direct-to-consumer ecommerce platform to drive revenue growth, influence core digital KPIs, acquire new customers, retain customers, and increase customer lifetime value. This person will own the entire site experience in order to create a seamless and enjoyable online shopping experience. The ideal candidate will bring a data-driven mindset, proven leadership in managing cross-functional initiatives, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

This is a hybrid role requiring some time in our office. Candidates should be based near  Denver, Colorado  and comfortable working from our office as needed.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive ecommerce strategy to drive revenue growth, improve customer acquisition, and optimize key performance indicators (Bounce Rate, Conversion, AOV, UPT, AUR, etc.).
  • Oversee and optimize the Shopify Plus platform, ensuring smooth functionality, security, and adherence to best practices; continuously evaluate and implement new features to enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Manage website development and operations, including UX/UI improvements, digital merchandising, and technical performance to ensure a seamless and engaging customer journey.
  • Develop a digital merchandising strategy that enhances product discovery and navigation through optimized taxonomy, site architecture, and content presentation across the on-site customer funnel, from Homepage to Checkout.
  • Collaborate with performance marketing and creative functions to enhance landing pages, promotional strategies, and site messaging that align with brand initiatives and customer expectations.
  • Lead an A/B testing and conversion rate optimization program to refine customer pathways, increase engagement, and maximize sales opportunities through data-driven decisions.
  • Work closely with Operations on forecasting and assortment planning to align product availability with demand and sales goals.
  • Create and maintain insightful reporting dashboards to track key metrics, forecast trends, and identify opportunities for continuous optimization and revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of ecommerce management experience in a direct-to-consumer business or retail ecommerce department, with expertise in Shopify Plus.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute a site roadmap, collaborating with external stakeholders and Shopify agencies.
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce best practices, trends, and technologies, including web development, UX/UI design, and site optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics, Shopify, Klaviyo, Tableau/Looker, and A/B testing and personalization tools.
  • Extensive experience with digital merchandising tools such as Searchspring and RetentionX to enhance product discoverability and conversion.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills to build partnerships and influence across the organization.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to push back when necessary to ensure ecommerce goals and deliverables are met effectively.
  • Results-driven, problem-solving mindset with a hands-on, proactive approach to achieving business goals and getting things done.

Salary Range: $120,000 - 130,000 base + bonus
