Solar Field Engineer – Solar Projects

Position Details:

• Reports to the Senior Construction Manager or other designated management personnel.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed.
• Travel: Up to 100% travel is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage project deliverables to ensure compliance with timelines and quality standards.
• Lead procurement processes and coordinate engineering solutions with project teams.
• Secure and maintain all required permits while ensuring adherence to project specifications.
• Enhance team collaboration and communication across internal and external stakeholders.
• Supervise project reporting, technical documentation, and maintain organized project records.
• Provide operational support to superintendents, including timekeeping, resource allocation, and quality management.
• Promote and enforce safety protocols, including job hazard analyses and compliance with safety regulations.
• Oversee environmental compliance by ensuring proper training and certifications for field staff.
• Support professional development for Field Engineers through training and certification programs.
• Maintain professional relationships with third parties and uphold client expectations with strong communication.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required per company policies.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field and at least 1.5 years of construction experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) .
• Experience with construction scheduling, CPM logic, and industry best practices .
• Proven ability to support projects from development through execution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel full-time as required.
• Fluent in written and spoken English .
• Ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced environment .
