Little Caesars is a company where our colleagues make an impact.Your Mission:Responsible for managing data research and analysis related to commodity markets, supply chain and purchasing research and current processes to ensure that the company meets inventory level goals. Create and present reports to management and communicate cross-functionally on supply chain process or procedures. Evaluate performance metrics for suppliers and advise management of any supply chain variances. Research and recommend cost saving initiatives along the value chain. Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to review and optimize inventory levels. This position will operate with autonomy and decision-making.How You'll Make An Impact:Research commodity markets, identify trends, and create reports for management to summarize findings, and make recommendations on purchasing strategy.Coordinate the Request for Quote and Request for Price (RFQ/RFP) process, including supplier research, testing coordination and price negotiation.Maintain ERP System with current item information, product structures, routings and schedules.Manage inventory levels, run Materials Resource Plan (MRP), and issue approved purchase orders according to established policies and procedures.Identify, research, and implement innovative cost savings initiatives in the areas of purchasing, inventory control, freight, warehousing, and operations.Maintain Logistics Scorecard with recent metrics (downtime, rotation, volume, etc.). Advise management of any variances.Design and produce ad hoc reporting as requested.Participate on cross-functional teams or work on special projects as needed.Maintain thorough understanding of company policies and procedures necessary for completion of tasks.Who You Are:Bachelor degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal degree.Minimum four (4) years direct experience with one or more areas of forecasting, distribution, supply chain, inventory control, commodity marketing, purchasing processes or inventory control.Previous experience in a work environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist.Evidence of effective collaboration with suppliers on performance metrics and cost-saving initiatives.Evidence of advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, web-based applications and other appropriate databases (e.g. ERP system).Demonstrated ability to use the internet for research and create reports to present findings in a professional or educational environment.Highly developed communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation.Proven analytical skills and problem-solving abilities and the ability to translate data plans into actionable outcomes.Demonstrated ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.Evidence of strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.The ability to lift and move weighted materials (50 lb min.)Food Industry experienceWhere You'll Work:Exposure to warehouse conditions (variance in temperature, noise etc).All items listed above are illustrative and not comprehensive.
