POSITION SUMMARY

Mega TV is seeking an experienced and creative TV Director to lead the production of engaging and culturally relevant Spanish-language programming. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in directing live and recorded television broadcasts, with a deep understanding of the Hispanic market and an ability to produce content that resonates with our diverse audience. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage the technical and creative aspects of television production while maintaining high standards of quality and innovation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Directing Live and Recorded Broadcasts: Lead the direction of live and pre-recorded television programs, including news shows, talk shows, entertainment segments, and special events. Ensure smooth execution of all aspects of the production.
• Creative Vision and Execution: Collaborate with producers, writers, and on-air talent to develop and implement the creative vision for each program. Translate concepts into compelling visual and auditory experiences that align with the network's brand and audience expectations.
• Technical Direction: Oversee the technical crew, including camera operators, audio technicians, and lighting specialists, to ensure all equipment and technical aspects are aligned for the production. Make real-time decisions during live broadcasts to address any technical issues.
• Script and Rundown Management: Review scripts and show rundowns, providing feedback to ensure the pacing, timing, and flow of the program meet the high standards of Mega TV. Adjust the program's structure as needed during live broadcasts to maintain quality and engagement.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment. Lead pre-production meetings and post-production reviews to continuously improve the quality of the content.
• Cultural Sensitivity and Audience Engagement: Ensure all programming is culturally relevant and resonates with the Hispanic community. Use audience feedback and ratings data to guide content development and make adjustments to enhance viewer engagement.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all content complies with FCC regulations, copyright laws, and the station's policies. Maintain a thorough understanding of broadcasting standards and implement best practices in all productions.
• Budget Management: Work within budget constraints while achieving high production values. Collaborate with the production manager to allocate resources effectively and efficiently.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 2] years of experience as a TV Director, with a strong portfolio of Spanish-language programming. Experience in live broadcast environments is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in film, Television Production, Communications, or a related field. Extensive professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Exceptional leadership and decision-making abilities under pressure.
• Proficiency in directing multi-camera productions and live broadcasts.
• Strong understanding of the Hispanic television market and cultural nuances.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in broadcast production software and equipment.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
