Job Description Nokia of America Corporation, Verification Specialist (Multiple Positions), Naperville, IL. SALARY RANGE: $122,236 - $163,800 per year
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)
Responsibilities Nokia of America Corporation, Verification Specialist (Multiple Positions), Naperville, IL. Perform white box, functional and regression testing in real or simulated environments by executing automated Python scripts or manual test scripts via the Robot Framework in Virtual Network Function (VNF) and Cloud-Native Network Function (CNF) platforms. Use the ROBOT automation framework and knowledge in Python to develop, execute, and maintain Lifecycle Management (LCM) automation keywords and test scripts that run on various VNF and CNF platforms. Collaborate with system engineers/architects, developers and testers to understand the requirements, design and testing needs to obtain the best solutions for customers. Generate requirement test plans for platform related features. Accountable for quality and accuracy of own output. Responsible for contribution to teamwork. Carries out tasks/activities according to assignment and set guidelines. Demonstrates initiative and adaptability to changing business environments.
#LI-DNI Qualifications JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience with the following: Automation tools and testing methodologies, including white box testing, functional testing, system testing, smoke testing, and regression testing; ROBOT frameworks; Python; Virtual network Function (VNF) or Cloud-Native Network Function (CNF) platforms; and 3GPP specification.
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Naperville, IL may be permitted up to 60%.
