About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive DEIB strategy. The successful candidate will collaborate with management to design and implement initiatives that support a diverse and inclusive workplace, including diversity-focused programs and activities. This role involves serving as the Co-Chair of the DEIB Committee, managing the DEI calendar, and overseeing the logistical planning of DEI events. The VP will also be responsible for drafting internal and external communications related to DEIB, as well as coordinating training and educational opportunities to advance staff's understanding of these important issues. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a DEIB leadership role, preferably in the not-for-profit sector. Essential qualifications include a strong commitment to the values of ethical integrity, compassion, equity, and inclusion, as well as demonstrated experience in nurturing inclusive organizational cultures and integrating DEIB practices into systems and policies. The role requires strong project management, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and to represent the company with professionalism and honesty. The VP will also be expected to collect and analyze data on DEIB initiatives, prepare reports for the executive team, and provide coaching to staff to promote cultural competence and allyship.
